1. About these Terms

These Terms govern your use of this website and any content, podcast episodes, newsletters, events, coaching, or consulting services provided under the Business Beatz Podcast brand by Lawrence Mackey ("we", "us", "our"). By using the site or our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to submit an application to appear on the podcast or to book a session with us. All information you provide must be true, accurate, and current.

3. Bookings, sessions & fees

Fees for paid sessions or services are as quoted at the time of booking, in Australian dollars (AUD), and inclusive of GST where applicable. Bookings are confirmed once payment (or a deposit) is received. We may decline a booking at our discretion before confirmation.

4. Cancellations & rescheduling

Rescheduling is available with at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations made within 48 hours of a session, or no-shows, may forfeit the session or deposit. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

5. Podcast guest releases

If you appear as a guest, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to record, edit, publish, distribute, and promote your contribution across audio, video, social media, and marketing channels. You confirm that anything you say or share is your own and does not infringe a third party's rights.

6. Conduct

You agree not to use this site or our services to harass, defame, or harm others, transmit malicious code, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or scrape or republish our content without written permission.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this site and within Business Beatz episodes — including audio, video, artwork, text, and graphics — is owned by or licensed to us and protected by Australian and international copyright laws. You may share episodes through the official platforms we publish on, but you must not reproduce, modify, or commercially exploit our content without prior written consent.

8. Disclaimer

Content on the podcast and this site is for general information and entertainment only and is not financial, legal, tax, or professional advice. Always seek qualified advice before acting on anything you hear or read. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, our content.

10. Changes & governing law

We may update these Terms from time to time; the current version is always published on this page. These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
